Cookies Policy

Last Updated: April 2026

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your browser or device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work properly, to remember your preferences between visits, to improve the user experience, and, on some sites, to collect information for analytics or advertising purposes.

Alongside traditional cookies, modern websites also rely on related technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage. These work similarly in that they store a small amount of information on your device, but the data stays on your device and is not automatically sent back to the server with every request. In this policy, we refer to all of these as "cookies" for the sake of simplicity.

This Cookies Policy explains what cookies we use on growuild.com, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.

How We Use Cookies

Growuild takes a minimal approach to cookies. We only use the ones that are strictly necessary to run the website and remember basic preferences. We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioural tracking, retargeting, or building profiles about our visitors.

The main reason we use local storage is to remember your preferred colour theme (light or dark mode) so that you do not need to set it again the next time you visit. This is stored on your device using the browser's built-in localStorage feature, under a key named theme. The value stored is either "light" or "dark", and nothing else.

Our hosting and content delivery providers may also automatically log standard server information (such as your IP address and browser user agent) when you request a page, but this is typically stored in server logs rather than in cookies on your device.

Types of Cookies We Use

For transparency, here is a breakdown of the different categories of cookies and similar technologies you may encounter on growuild.com, and how we use (or do not use) each category:

  • Strictly Necessary: A single localStorage item named theme is used to remember whether you have selected light mode or dark mode. Without this, your theme preference would reset each time you load a page. This item does not contain any personal information and is never shared with third parties.
  • Performance: We rely on standard server-side request logs (generated by our hosting and CDN providers) rather than on-device performance cookies. By default, we do not load third-party analytics scripts that set tracking cookies in your browser.
  • Functional: Our WhatsApp "Contact Us" button is a simple link; clicking it does not store any cookie on your device. We do not track individual clicks or associate them with a user profile.
  • Third-party: Our site loads Google Fonts for typography (CSS files only, which do not set cookies) and may load scripts from cdnjs for libraries such as GSAP. If the Tawk.to live chat widget is enabled on a given page, it will set its own session cookies once you interact with the chat to keep the conversation running.

If we ever decide to add analytics or other cookie-based tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, request your consent before those cookies are set.

Third-Party Cookies

Some of the services we use to operate and protect our website are provided by third parties, and these providers may set their own cookies in your browser when you load our pages. The most common examples are:

  • Cloudflare: Our site is delivered through Cloudflare's global network, which may set security and performance cookies (for example, to help detect malicious traffic or to remember that a particular visitor has already passed a security challenge). These cookies are set and read by Cloudflare, not by us.
  • Tawk.to: Where the Tawk.to live chat widget is loaded, it may set session cookies to keep track of your chat conversation while you are on the site. These cookies are typically temporary and are managed by Tawk.to under its own privacy policy.
  • CDN script sources: Libraries loaded from third-party CDNs (such as cdnjs for GSAP or fonts.googleapis.com for web fonts) generally do not set cookies, but they may record standard request information in their own server logs.

We do not control the cookies set by these third parties. You can review their respective privacy and cookie policies on their own websites for more details. If you prefer not to have any third-party cookies set at all, you can adjust your browser settings to block them, as described below.

Managing Cookies

You have full control over the cookies and similar technologies stored on your device. All modern browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. For detailed instructions, please refer to the help documentation for the specific browser you use, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, or Brave.

Because Growuild does not rely on any non-essential cookies, disabling cookies for our site will not break core functionality. You will still be able to browse all of our pages, view our demos, and contact us through WhatsApp or email. The main difference you may notice is that your theme preference will reset to the default on each visit, because we will not be able to remember your previous choice.

You can also clear the theme preference manually at any time by opening your browser's developer tools and removing the theme item from localStorage for growuild.com, or by using your browser's "Clear site data" feature for our domain.

Do Not Track

Some browsers let you send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites you visit to indicate that you do not want your online activity to be tracked. There is no single industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, and the feature is gradually being phased out in many browsers.

Because Growuild does not engage in cross-site tracking, behavioural advertising, or profiling, we effectively honour DNT signals regardless of whether they are sent. We do not follow visitors around the web, we do not sell user data, and we do not build advertising profiles based on browsing behaviour.

If you would like further assurance about how your visit to our site is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy, which explains in more detail what data we collect and how we use it.

Updates

From time to time, we may update this Cookies Policy to reflect changes in the tools we use, the services we offer, or the requirements of applicable laws. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page so that you can easily see when the most recent changes were made.

We encourage you to revisit this page periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies. For material changes that significantly affect the types of cookies we use, we will take reasonable steps to make the update clear, such as posting a notice on the site or notifying clients directly through email or WhatsApp.

Your continued use of our website after any such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
